Spokane Wedding Photographer AiP, Levi & Jerrica: Engaged

It may be hard to tell, but besides being totally and obviously perfect for each other, these pictures were taken when it was in the 20-30 degree range. FREEZING! I had my hoodie, heavy coat, and warm hat on, but these two weren't so fortunate. I'm glad they were so tough! You can't even tell they were ice cubes! One cool fact about this session is that I hadn't yet met them, and when I met them at our shoot, I recognized them from my church! Enough talk... on to the pics!

Lauren, Senior Model 2011

Meet Lauren, from Lakeland High School. I got to walk around with her, her mom, and her sister for a few hours, shooting in some most unlikely places. She was up for anything, which makes it SO much easier! The best part was getting to know Lauren and her family. They are such nice a nice, funny family, and it was a total blessing. Special thanks to Baylee for being my Light Girl (you did an awesome job!). Some of these were shot when it was nearly pitch black out. I Know It's Almost Mother's Day...

but I can't resist posting these pics I took of my Dad, also a photographer. We were scouting out a wedding venue for an upcoming wedding, and took the opportunity to get some shots of each other. He always looks so great in pics, yet he hates seeing them of himself, so don't tell him I posted them here, for everyone to see :)

Steve & Bergie, Engaged!

Word to the wise -- it is not recommended to schedule an engagement session during a disc golf tournament! Well, even though we had a few close calls, nearly had our cars dented with discs, and had to hurry hurry hurry, we still managed to have a good time, and I had fun getting to know these guys. Steve and Bernie -- you guys are super cool for enduring the day of the disc golf! I think these shots were worth it.

Jamie & Brad Wedding

What a beautifully planned and designed wedding for these two! I'm sure they gave more than a mild thanks to their coordinator, also named Jamie. Everything was gorgeous about the entire day, especially the bride. Even though it was a great time, I'm not kidding when I say that I was ready to sleep for days when the night was through -- I was so busy catching shots. Now, I get to enjoy looking through the images that will keep the memories of their special day fresh in their minds forever. Here's a sneak preview. More to come. Oh, and by the way, the car is theirs, and it was painted to match the dress.
